Well I was in for some surprises this day! Tom and Tamsin are involved in shearing sheep. They travel together following the work wherever it leads them. Tamsin is a very good chef, but gave away her career to follow Tom and she now cooks alongside of him at whatever job they are at.
The Sebel is a stunning location and the day was a hot one. There was lots of burning off happening when I visited the day before their wedding and there was even smoke hanging around in the morning – but! the wedding fairy came and blew it all away to reveal a beautiful summers day.
Before I arrived, the two of them had traveled to a few local dairy farms and found one that was willing to let us go and have after ceremony photographs taken. They had also decided to have a ‘first reveal’ and also have most of their bridal party images taken before the ceremony. These days there is no normal, and I just go with the flow.
There was lots of emotion around this wedding and although Tom didn’t smile easily – when it came, it was worth the wait. Tears flowed before the ceremony, after the ceremony…and lots at the reception. Beautiful, happy tears.
Gorgeous bridal party and a perfect day.
